Class of 2026, welcome to your senior year!  We know you will continue your journey of learning, leadership, and service!  


The purpose of this page is to provide a place where you can easily and quickly access important news and need to know information for the Class of 2026!  We hope you find it a great resource for you and your family.  Make sure you bookmark the page and check back with us often as new information will be added frequently.  And remember.... Memories await!

GRADUATION WEEKEND (MAY 16 & 17) 

SENIOR CLASS AWARDS - Saturday, May 16 at 3PM (JCCHS Auditorium) 

  • Seniors should arrive at 1PM to enjoy a reception (co-hosted by VIDAL Access), to sign the Senior Banner, and to check in. 
  • Seniors will move to the gym at 2:30PM for a Class Photo and for the Class Awards line-up.
  • Seniors are to wear caps and gowns. 
  • Seniors who earned- yellow and white JCCHS-issued honor cords can wear them at Senior Class Awards Night. Additionally, students may wear Non JCCHS-issued honor cords that they have earned through other organizations.  (Non JCCHS-issued honor cords can be worn at Senior Class Awards Night but are not allowed to be worn at Graduation). 

BACCALAUREATE MASS - Sunday, May 17 at 5:30 PM (JCCHS)

  • Seniors should meet in the JCCHS Library at 4:45 PM to begin lining up.  Please check in with Mrs. Gronemeyer immediately when you arrive. 
  • At Baccalaureate Mass, students wear their cap and gown. Students may wear their JCCHS-issued academic honor cords associated with GPA.
  • If you have younger siblings that would like to Altar Serve at Mass, please email Ms. Zito at hzito@jcchs.org .
  • NOTES FOR FAMILIES: 
    • Gymnasium doors will open at 4:45 PM. 
    • Seating will be on a first-come, first served basis.
    • There will be overflow seating available in the JCCHS auditorium (livestream).  

GRADUATION CEREMONY  - Sunday, May 17 at 7PM (JCCHS Pat Sullivan Field)

  • After Mass, students will walk down to Pat Sullivan Field. Shuttles will be provided for families.
  • Any items that you bring (keys, purses, etc) should be stored under your assigned chair or left with a family member if you do not have pockets.
  • Students should be lined up along the fenceline by the field entrance (near the concession stands) by 6:45 PM.
  • NOTES FOR FAMILIES: 
    • Stadium gates will be open at 6:30 PM. 
    • Seating will be on a first-come, first served basis.
    • Graduation will be livestreamed. The link and access instructions will be sent prior to the event.. 
    • In case of inclement weather or construction delays, graduation will be held in the JCCHS gymnasium.  Students will be given 8 guest tickets each if graduation is held in the gymnasium. Additionally, there will be overflow seating available in the JCCHS auditorium (livestream).  These tickets will be distributed via GoFan.  Official information regarding the change of venue will be sent via email to students and families, and will be posted on the Class of 2026 webpage on the John Carroll website.

Additional Student Dress Information/Requirements: 

  • Caps and gowns should be worn for the Senior Class Awards Night, Baccalaureate Mass, and the graduation ceremony (yellow and white JCCHS-issued honor cords are to be worn at Senior Class Awards Night and Graduation).  
  •  Non JCCHS-issued honor cords or stoles may ONLY be worn at Senior Class Awards Night. 
  • Men are to dress in a collared, buttoned down shirt with a tie, and slacks. Dress shoes are required. Jeans, tennis shoes and shorts are not permitted.  
  • Ladies are to wear a dress, blouse and skirt, or blouse and slacks. The dress or skirt length should be no more than 3 inches above the knee.  No strapless or spaghetti straps are allowed.  
  • Please wear shoes you can walk well in. If you are concerned, practice walking in them at Friday’s rehearsal.
  • After you have picked up your gown please remember to take it out of the packaging, and steam or iron it to remove wrinkles.  You will be very glad you did!

GRADUATION SCHEDULE:

Senior Class Awards Night: Saturday, May 16 at 3pm (JCCHS Auditorium)

* Students should expect to arrive around 1pm for a reception (co-hosted by VIDAL Access) in The Commons.  The official senior class photo will be taken in the gym at 2:30pm. 

Baccalaureate Mass: Sunday, May 17 at 5:30pm (JCCHS)

Graduation: Sunday, May 17 at 7pm (JCCHS)
