The JCCHS Nursing Club visited the UAB School of Nursing yesterday to learn more about future career opportunities!
The students spoke with various schools of health including medical, physical therapy and nursing, they learned how to use AED equipment, practiced checking vitals on a patient, performed CPR, heard from a panel of nurses, completed a simulation of a code blue, and visited the UAB hospital emergency department and helipad!
