Below are some questions and answers that you may find helpful in considering your participation on the retreat:

How are we getting to the retreat?

Students will depart by bus to the 4H center immediately after school on Friday, Dec. 3rd and return to the school at 1:00pm on Sunday, Dec. 5th. If you are in a club or on a team, please check with your club moderators and coaches to know the extent to which your absence will affect the group before you sign up.

What does the cost cover?

The charged $215 covers 2 nights of dorm-style rooming, linens included, 6 hot meals, transportation to and from the retreat, a long-sleeved T Shirt, as well as miscellaneous supplies used throughout the course of the retreat.

What happens on the retreat?

The retreat seeks to provide students with an encounter of the Father’s love and mercy. Throughout a series of talks, we will unpack the story of “The Prodigal Son,” and through small-group discussions, activities, and community, students will develop a deeper understanding of the Father’s capacity for forgiveness and will recognize their intrinsic worth as children of God. The retreat seeks to help students desire a deeper conversion in their own hearts and seeks to help students develop an authentic prayer life. The retreat builds towards Eucharistic Adoration and Praise and Worship Saturday night, and Holy Mass Sunday morning where students will intimately come face-to-face with Christ Himself.

Who should go on the retreat?

Students who desire to deepen their relationship with Christ and who genuinely desire a more personal relationship with the Father and who are seeking to connect with their classmates on a more spiritual level.

What precautions are being taken in regards to COVID?

We understand that this is an extremely hard time for our community and have made modifications to the retreat to provide as much safety as possible for all students and adults involved. We will have all the same COVID protocols as the school holds at the time; currently we are anticipating that masks will be required to be worn at all times.  If you would like to request that your student have their own room and bathroom as a health precaution, you will be charged an extra $50.

We will continue to be monitoring the COVID situation in our school community and will keep all participants informed. Know that if the situation gets worse within our community or a student is unable to attend, a full refund will be administered.
