Personal and Educational Experience
Bebe has taught elementary classes 2nd, 3rd,5th, and 6th. She has taught music in grades K-12 and has been a counselor at Hoover High School prior to coming to John Carroll in 1998. She is also involved in the community directing a civic chorus and as a church choir director/organist.
Mrs. Kok has always worked with young people both in the church and in the community. She loves animals and has always had several pets. In her free time she also loves to work outside and follow the Crimson Tide.
Professional and Community Involvement
Bebe is an active member of the National Association of Counselors, the Alabama Counseling Association, and the American Choral Director Association. She is director of the Alabama Civic Chorale and Choir Director/Organist in a church in the Birmingham area.
Philosophy
My goal as an educator is to help students to learn to remove obstacles to learning and to facilitate their making wise choices that will open doors for their future.
